TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions govern the participation in Friends of Tin Box Group Rewards Programme (“Friends of Tin Box Group”) offered by Tin Box Group Singapore Pte Ltd. (“Tin Box Group”). By participating in Friends of Tin Box Group, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

DEFINITION:

The Terms defined and used herein shall have the following meanings shown next to them:

  • “Registration” – the process completed and submitted by the registrant, in order to become a Friend of Tin Box Group.
  • “Membership” – Friends of Tin Box Group Rewards Programme.
  • “Transaction” – transaction effected by the Member at any Tin Box Group Singapore outlets.
  • “Participating Outlets” – Tin Box Group Singapore outlets which acknowledge and accept Friends of Tin Box Group benefits.
  • “We, us, our, Tin Box Group” – Tin Box Group Singapore Pte Ltd.
  • “You, your, member, Friend of Tin Box Group, account” – the person who applied for Friends of Tin Box Group membership and/or whose member’s account belongs to.

APPLICATION OF FRIENDS OF TIN BOX GROUP

  • No registration fees. Register via our members’ web app (https://rewards.tinboxgroup.sg) for a complimentary account.
  • The registrant has to be at least 18 years of age at the point of application and have a valid email address in the participating country.

MEMBERSHIP VALIDITY

  • 12 months validity from the date of registration and/or from the date of attaining a new membership tier.
  • Membership is applicable for use in Singapore only.
  • Membership privileges can only be enjoyed by the member. Membership account is strictly non-transferable.

EARNING OF POINTS

  • Members are entitled to earn points, based on their total bill when they dine-in or takeaway at any participating outlets and their respective tiers.
    • Silver members are entitled to earn 1 point per dollar spent.
    • Gold members are entitled to earn 2 points per dollar spent.
    • Black members are entitled to earn 3 points per dollar spent.
  • Earning of points is calculated after the redemption of any Tin Box Group discount or dining vouchers and is inclusive of service charges, government taxes, etc. This amount is referred to as the total nett spend.
  • To earn points from the total bill, bill must be paid with the accepted payment methods at each outlet (cash, partnering bank’s credit/debit cards, NETS). The name on the credit/debit card must be identical as per member’s name registered with us.
  • Member has to identify oneself by informing our staff at point of billing and/or seating to enjoy membership privileges.
  • Member has to be physically present to earn points. No points will be credited if the member is not present at the point of billing. Mobile number, date of birth, or any form of identification may be requested for further verification purposes for us to facilitate membership privileges.

EXCLUSIVE BIRTHDAY PRIVILEGES

  • Earn double points for each transaction at any of our outlets during your birthday month.

EXCLUSIVE PHYSICAL MEMBERSHIP CARD

  • The physical membership card is exclusively for Gold and Black members only.
  • The physical membership card is strictly non-transferable.
  • Tin Box Group will not be held responsible if the physical membership card is stolen, lost, or damaged. Tin Box Group reserves the right to reject any physical membership card that has been tampered with or found in any way unacceptable.
  • Tin Box Group reserves the right to vary, amend, or terminate the physical membership card, replacement fee, and terms and conditions without any prior notice.
  • In the event of misplacement or loss of the physical membership card, member will be required to inform Tin Box Group via email at rewards@tinboxroup.sg. Member can opt for an issuance of a new physical membership card at a replacement fee of S$50.

 REFERRAL REWARDS

  • Referral rewards of 20 points will be awarded to both the referrer and referee upon the completion of the referee’s first transaction at any Tin Box Group outlets.

TIN BOX GROUP REWARDS AND REDEMPTION

  • Member can redeem complimentary and/or utilise their points to receive Tin Box Group rewards, as outlined in Friends of Tin Box Group.
  • Welcome voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of issue, by the respective member only.
  • Member discount is applicable to each transaction at the participating outlets and is valid for 12 months from the date of attaining Gold or Black tier, by the respective member only.
  • Dining voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of redemption, by the respective member only.
  • Rewards are subject to availability and may be substituted with alternatives of equal value, determined at our sole discretion.
  • Member must be physically present to utilise any Tin Box Group rewards (valid for dine-in and takeaway). Utilisation of partner rewards will be not allowed if the member is not present at the point of billing. Mobile number, date of birth, or any form of identification may be requested for further verification purposes for us to facilitate membership privileges.
  • Tin Box Group rewards are non-exchangeable for cash in parts or full, and any unused amount is non-refundable.
  • If the value of the purchase exceeds the amount of the voucher, the difference thereof should be paid by the member.
  • Tin Box Group rewards are not legal tender and cannot be changed for cash and/or other products or services and cannot be deposited into any bank account.
  • Tin Box Group will not be held responsible if any reward vouchers are stolen, lost, or damaged, and no replacement will be provided. Tin Box Group reserves the right to reject any voucher that has been tampered with or found in any way unacceptable.
  • Tin Box Group reserves the right to vary, amend, or terminate the rewards, redemption options, and terms and conditions without any prior notice.
  • Individual rewards terms and conditions apply.

PARTNER REWARDS AND REDEMPTION

  • Member can redeem complimentary and/or utilise their points to receive partner rewards, as outlined in Friends of Tin Box Group.
  • Rewards are subject to availability and may be substituted with alternatives of equal value, determined at Tin Box Group and the respective partner’s discretion.
  • Member must be physically present to utilise any partner rewards. Utilisation of partner rewards will not be allowed if the member is not present at the point of billing. Mobile number, date of birth, or any form of identification may be requested for further verification purposes for us and our partners to facilitate membership privileges.
  • Partner rewards are non-exchangeable for cash in parts or full, and any unused amount is non-refundable.
  • If the value of purchase exceeds the amount of the voucher, the difference thereof should be paid by the member.
  • Partner rewards are not legal tender and cannot be changed for cash and/or other products or services and cannot be deposited into any bank account.
  • Tin Box Group and our partners will not be held responsible if any reward vouchers are stolen, lost, or damaged, and no replacement will be provided. Tin Box Group and our partners reserve the right to reject any voucher that has been tampered with or found in any way unacceptable.
  • Tin Box Group and our partners reserve the right to vary, amend, or terminate the rewards, redemption options, and terms and conditions without any prior notice.
  • Individual rewards terms and conditions apply.

POINTS AND REWARDS VALIDITY AND EXPIRY

  • Points and rewards may have an expiry date as specified in Friends of Tin Box Group.
  • Expired points and rewards that are not utilised prior to the stated expiry date cannot be reinstated and extended.

MEMBERSHIP VALIDITY AND RENEWAL  

  • Membership validity reminders will be sent to member via email notifications. For members who opt not to be reached via email marketing preference, you may refer to the Friends of Tin Box Group web app (https://rewards.tinboxgroup.sg) to check the validity of your membership.
  • It is the responsibility of the member to attain the minimum spend required to retain the current membership tier or upgrade to the next membership tier before the validity date. There will strictly be no refund or extension of the membership validity.

FRIENDS OF TIN BOX GROUP AMENDMENTS AND TERMINATION

  • Tin Box Group reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate Friends of Tin Box Group at any time without prior notice.
  • In the event of Friends of Tin Box Group termination, members may have a limited time to redeem their points and/or rewards, as specified by Tin Box Group.

TERMINATION AND CANCELLATION

  • Member may, at any time, terminate the membership via email to rewards@tinboxgroup.sg.
  • Tin Box Group reserves the right to terminate the membership if found to be transferred and/or shared by member and his/her family and friends, etc.
  • Upon termination of the registered account by us, member shall not attempt to use the registered account, or it shall be deemed as fraudulent.
  • Upon the termination or cancellation of the registered account for whatever reasons, all Friends of Tin Box privileges and points earned will be forfeited and member shall have no further claim against us.
  • All redeemed rewards are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Tin Box Group shall not be held liable for any loss or expenses incurred by members arising from participation in Friends of Tin Box Group or use of rewards.
  • Tin Box Group does not guarantee the availability, quality, or suitability of any rewards or benefits offered through Friends of Tin Box Group.

 DATA PROTECTION AND COMMUNICATION

  • You agree that you have read, understood, and consent to Tin Box Group collecting, using, disclosing, and processing your personal data in the manner set forth in our privacy policy.
  • By registering as a Friend of Tin Box Group, you agree to our collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal data to the extent necessary to process your requests and provide you with our services.
  • Member have given consent that Tin Box Group shall be entitled to disclose personal particulars to the cooperatives and the organisations affiliated or related to us.

CONFIDENTIALITY OF ACCOUNT DETAILS

  • Members are required to always keep their membership information and details confidential.

GOVERNING LAW

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Friends of Tin Box Group is offered.
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

 DISCRETION AND SEVERABILITY

  • Friends of Tin Box Group is the sole property of Tin Box Group.
  • Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, if the privileges and/or rewards have been wrongfully or fraudulently redeemed, the member shall be liable to refund us the value of the said privileges and/or rewards without dispute.
  • Any dispute on the privileges and/or rewards shall be notified to us via email at rewards@tinboxgroup.sg within 30 days from the date of the dispute.
  • Tin Box Group reserves all rights to vary and/or amend any privileges or terms and conditions without prior notice. All terms and conditions of Friends of Tin Box Group will be updated on our web app (https://rewards.tinboxgroup.sg) from time to time. Members are encouraged to regularly review the most recent version available on our web app or through other official communication channels.
  • Tin Box Group is entitled at any time, in our absolute discretion without liability to you, to suspend or terminate member's right to use the membership and/or to refuse the renewal of the membership should any of the privileges and/or conditions be abused.
  • Member shall indemnify and hold us against any liability or loss, penalty, damage, costs, and expenses, including but not limited to legal costs, arising directly or indirectly from any breach on the part of the member in complying or observing these Terms and Conditions or in otherwise using the account or recovery of any outstanding amounts due from the member.
