How can I become a Friend of Tin Box Group?

Becoming a Friend of Tin Box Group is easy and free! There are several ways for you to sign up: 

  1. Online: Visit our web app https://rewards.tinboxgroup.sg and click on 'Join Us Now'  to create an account with us. 
  2. QR Code: Scan the QR code that is available at any of our outlets and it will link you to the sign-up page where you can create your account with us. 
  3. In-Person: Approach any of our friendly Guest Relations staff when you are visiting any of our outlets, and they will be happy to assist you with the sign-up process.
Which outlets are participating in this rewards programme?

All Tin Box Group Singapore outlets are part of this rewards programme. The participating outlets are:

Is the membership transferable?

Can I earn or redeem my points when I visit Tin Box Group Malaysia outlets?

No, the Friends of Tin Box Group rewards programme is limited to Singapore only. You will not be able to earn or redeem any points when you visit our Tin Box Group Malaysia outlets.

Membership Tiers

How can I check my membership tier status?

To check your membership tier status, you may visit the home page or profile page of the web app.

Your membership tier status will be reflected there.

What are the different membership tiers and how can I attain each tier?

Our Friends of Tin Box Group rewards programme comprises three different tiers: Silver, Gold, and Black. 

Here’s how you can attain each membership tier: 

  1. Silver: No minimum spend required. 
  2. Gold: Accumulate a total spend of S$25,000 within 12 months, from the date of attaining Silver tier. 
  3. Black: Accumulate a total spend of S$100,000 within 12 months, from the date of attaining Gold tier.
How can I maintain my membership tier?

Silver: No minimum spend required.

Gold: Accumulate a total spend of S$25,000 within 12 months, from the date of attaining Gold tier.

Black: Accumulate a total spend of S$100,000 within 12 months, from the date of attaining Black tier.

How can I determine how much more I am required to spend to be promoted to the next membership tier?

You can track your progress towards the next membership tier by referring to the progress bar available in the web app. It will indicate how close you are to reaching the spending requirement for the next tier.

When does my membership tier cycle start and end?

Your membership tier cycle commences immediately, upon successful sign up. Each tier cycle is valid for 12 months. 

E.g. If you sign up for our Friends of Tin Box Group programme on 1 August 2023, your total spending and tier will reset on 1 August 2024. 

If you are promoted to the next membership tier within the 12-month cycle, the 12 months validity will be refreshed from the date of your promotion. 

E.g. If you sign up for our Friends of Tin Box Group programme on 1 August 2023, and get promoted to the Gold tier on 31 December 2023, your new cycle will be valid from 31 December 2023 to 30 December 2024.

Will my membership tier be downgraded if I don’t meet the minimum spend requirement?

Yes, Gold and Black members will be subjected to a downgrade if the minimum spend required within the 12 month tier cycle is not met.

E.g. If you are a Black member and did not manage to retain your tier within the 12 month tier cycle, you will be downgraded to a Gold member.
If you are a Gold member and did not manage to retain your tier within the 12 month tier cycle, you will be downgraded to a Silver member.

As Friends of Tin Box Group rewards programme is a lifetime membership, Silver members will not be subjected to a downgrade.

Will I still have access to the exclusive rewards and perks after being downgraded?

Yes, you will continue to have access to the benefits and perks associated with your new tier. Your accumulated points will also remain and can be utilised on the benefits available in your new tier.

Will my membership tier be downgraded when I utilise my points?

No, utilising your points will not result in a downgrade of your membership tier. Your tier status remains unaffected by point redemption.

Membership Points

How can I earn points?

Upon making a payment or a transaction at any of our Tin Box Group Singapore outlets, you will be required to either flash your membership QR code or provide your contact details to our friendly staff. 

By making regular purchases at our outlets, you will be on your way to accumulating points and enjoying the rewards of our membership programme. 

Kindly note that transactions made for and/or during venue hires and private events are not eligible for earning points.

How many points can I earn per transaction?

You may refer to the following for the respective tiers dollar to point ratio: 

  1. Silver: Earn 1 point per every S$1 spent 
  2. Gold: Earn 2 points per every S$1 spent 
  3. Black: Earn 3 points per every S$1 spent 

Additionally, we have a special bonus for you during your birthday month! Receive double the number of points for all transactions made within your birthday month. 

  • Transactions conducted for, and/or during venue hires and private events are ineligible for earning points.
  • In the case of large group bookings, the minimum spend must be met or paid in cash value after applying any dining vouchers or discounts.

How do I check my points balance?

Your points balance will be reflected on the home and profile pages of the web app.

What can I do with my points?

Your earned points can be redeemed for exciting rewards on our rewards catalogue, featuring an array of Tin Box Group dining vouchers and rewards from our esteemed partners.

How can I redeem my points?
  1. Browse rewards catalogue: Visit our rewards catalogue where you will find an array of available rewards.
  2. Choose your reward: Select the reward you wish to redeem. Upon selecting the reward, you will find step-by-step instructions on how you can redeem and utilise your reward.
  3. Enjoy your reward: Upon successful redemption, you will be able to enjoy the benefits at the designated outlets or partner. 

Each reward will have its individual expiration date and terms and conditions.

What should I do if I did not receive my points?

If you have made a transaction but did not receive your points, kindly allow up to 3 working days for the points to be reflected in your account. 

If your points are still not reflected after the given time, kindly drop us an email at rewards@tinboxgroup.sg with your membership details, transaction details (date of visit, outlet visited, and transaction amount), and any relevant receipts or proof of transaction(s).

How long are accumulated points valid for?

Accumulated points are valid for 24 months from the date they were awarded.

What happens if I do not utilise my points within the validity period?

Points will not be reinstated or carried over if you fail to utilise your points before the validity period.

Can I merge points from multiple accounts into a single account?

Combining of points from multiple accounts are not allowed. Each account maintains its own separate points balance, and they cannot be merged or transferred between accounts.

Exclusive Rewards

When will I receive my welcome reward?

You will receive your welcome reward upon successful sign up. The welcome reward is valid for 3 months, from the date of issue.

Where can I use my welcome reward?

Your welcome reward can be utilised at all participating Tin Box Group Singapore outlets. Your Welcome gift can be utilised at all participating outlets of Tin Box Group Singapore. The participating outlets are:

  1. Simply Retro by Tin Box @ CHIJMES
  2. Simply Live by Tin Box 
  3. Simply Jazz by Tin Box 
  4. Simply Retro by Tin Box @ CQ 
  5. Simply Talad by Tin Box

When will I receive my birthday rewards?

You will receive a birthday voucher on the first day of your birthday month. During your birthday month, you will earn 2x the number of points per transaction made at Tin Box Group Singapore outlets. 

For Gold and Black members, you will receive a special birthday treat during your first visit of your birthday month.

What exclusive rewards am I entitled to as a Gold or Black member?

Gold: 15% off total bill on every visit.
Black: 25% off total bill on every visit.

When will my rewards expire?

Each reward has its own validity date. You may refer to the individual reward terms and conditions to view the expiration date.

Physical Membership Card

How does the physical membership card work?

To avail yourself of the exclusive members discount or other Tin Box Group Singapore rewards, you may present your physical membership card or scan the QR code located on the back of the card when making payment at our outlets. This allows you to utilise the benefits associated with your membership.

How can I obtain a physical membership card?

The physical membership card is exclusively available to Gold and Black members. To obtain a physical membership card, you will be required to achieve the Gold or Black membership status.

Upon attaining either of these tiers, our Guest Relations team will hand-deliver the physical membership card to you during your visit to any of our Tin Box Group Singapore outlets.

Please allow up to a month from attaining your new membership status for the card to be delivered to you.

What should I do if I lose my physical membership card?

If you have misplaced your physical membership card, kindly reach out to us via email at rewards@tinboxgroup.sg. We will assist to cancel your card to ensure that there is no unauthorised usage.

There will be a replacement fee of S$75 for the issuance of a new physical membership card. However, if you prefer not to replace your lost physical membership card, you can continue using your personal e-card through our web app.

Referrals

Can I refer a friend to join the Friends of Tin Box Group rewards programme?

Yes, you may find your unique referral link here.

For each successful referral, the referrer and referee will be awarded 20 points each. The referral points will automatically be awarded to the account once the referee makes his/her first transaction at our Tin Box Group Singapore outlets.

How do I amend or update my personal information?

To update your personal details, access the profile page on the web app and click on the ‘More’ button. You will be able to access the ‘Personal Detail’ tab, where you can make changes to your personal information.
